On Stage Classic Keyboard Stand

keyboard-stand Most keyboards these days do not themselves come with keyboard stands unless you’re purchasing a real high-end model – otherwise you have to purchase one separately, and these can run upwards of $50 or more.

I’ve researched a good solution – the Stage Classic keyboard stand.  It’s pretty much the least expensive stand out there, can fit to any keyboard, is sturdy, and easy to assemble.  It has gotten very good reviews from people who own it, and looks to be a good choice for your digital piano.

Stage Classic Keyboard Stands: The Lowdown

  • Accommodates practically any keyboard with rubber grips that can be adjusted to the size of the keyboard to hold it in place
  • Is sturdy and strong with its 1″ square tubing
  • Can be adjusted to one of 5 different height settings – easy and quickly
  • Weighs just under 8 pounds so it can be moved or transported easily
  • Can be folded and stored away when not in use
  • Rubber end caps to prevent slipping

Tidbits

  • One owner review I came across suggested that a keyboard should be removed from the keyboard stand PRIOR to adjusting the height as he almost dumped his on the ground
  • Another stated that the stand may be a bit wobbly if used on a carpet, but only under intense playing, and even then it didn’t wobble all that much

Customer Feedback

Here’s some recent reviews that I found from owners of these keyboard stands:

“…this stand is nice and sturdy, VERY strong, and a great value.”

“I have no fear about my keyboard toppling over.”
